Back with another one! I’ve always been one of those people who wait until the hype of a product dies down before purchasing.. that’s always been me.
Now I’ve heard amazing things about this product from multiple bloggers. So I thought this January.. why not?!
Introducing NARS’ first 16-hour foundation that stays turned on by the power of radiance. Untraceable. Unstoppable. Unlike anything else. Longwear is finally lightweight—and radiant. High coverage is now super natural. Its breathable, fade-resistant formula is infused with Raspberry, Apple, and Watermelon extracts to help smooth and improve the look of your skin instantly, and over time for full-powered radiance. It wears longer, stays stronger, and looks better with each hour. Specialized skin-matching technology ensures your truest match yet. Your future looks radiant with Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.
Consistency and Coverage
Much like the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation the NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation is liquid consistency but a little more on the thick side. I would agree that the coverage that this foundation gives is high as with only one pump all my imperfections were covered. One pump managed to cover all discolouration, dark marks etc.
Another thing I would say about this foundation is that the coverage can definitely be built up to your preference, simply by applyIng less for a more natural look but this might go into your favourite foundation pile if you prefer high coverage.
When it comes to shade range I honestly love how inclusive and diverse NARS have been. They were very inclusive in terms of skin tones and undertones – instead of applying the rhetoric that one shade and undertone fits all.
NARS have added newer shades to their range and now have a total of 33 shades. With the lightest shade being Oslo and the darkest shade available being Mali. I picked up the most popular shade Macao after doing a swatch in my local store – finding my shade was easy because I knew my undertone.
As I mentioned previously, the foundation has a radiant, glowy finish that looks and feels lightweight and just like skin! It manages to cover imperfections on the face creating a flawless canvas giving it that natural finish.
Size and Price
Similar to most foundations, the bottle contains 30ml and is retailed for £35.
The NARS Radiant Foundation can be found in a range of places such as Debenhams, Selfridges and John Lewis (there are a couple more places in addition to the ones mentioned). I picked mine up from Selfridges.
Honestly? I have no regrets purchasing this item. Definitely a holy grail for me, the packaging, the finish, the shade range, the consistency and coverage. I love everything about this foundation, the natural radiant look sold me. I will most definitely be reaching for the Nars..
Me, with just the Nars Radiant Longwear
